That's a nice find, shouldn't last long.

as I recall, it was for a hard tonneau cover for like three bills. Not a bad deal.......

I have a mineral grey 05 Ram. I was interested in getting a fiberglass bed cover, but the pricing kept me from moving on one right away. A buddy of mine had an 04 Ram and he installed a Top Deck lid and thats what got me started looking. Just for laughs I went to the local Craigslist and low and behold under autos/trucks I couldn't believe my eyes, but a guy had my exact sized and color for sale. On top of that it was the Top Deck brand! He was asking $300 so I got in my truck and went down there right away. Sure enough, it was in perfect condition and I was able to buy it for only $275, that is what I call a smokin deal. He even helped me install it on the spot, which is good because I doubt very much you can do it alone, they are heavy. Anyway, the set up looks awesome and really cleans up the truck's looks. I like everything about a fiberglass lid except for those times when you have something to haul that is taller than the bed. Oh well, can't have everything! Another benefit of having the extra weight back there it helps settle down the rear suspension. The earlier Rams had a rear end that was too light and under certain road conditions like big cracks or potholes at freeway speed will make the truck bounce out of track, kind of scary actually. But with the lid on the problem was minimized and I no longer have to worry about it. Many owners will put a couple bags of sand back there, serves the same purpose and when I had a sack of cement in there alongwith the cover, the truck tracked like a champ. Sometimes you get lucky on some of these deals, I certainly did.
