Is My 2000 Ram 1500 a sport model?

I'm unsure what model of truck I have. I bought a new set of headlights off ebay and they only had one light bulb where as mine have two on each side. The seller said that I have a sport model but I can't find anything that says sport. It has a chrome grill and front bumper versus painted. I suppose the grill and bumper could have been changed out. Any input will be much appreciated.

Check out this thread How Is My Truck Equipped? in thee you can email Chrysler and they will send you your build sheet with how your truck was equipped from when it was built.

I don't believe it is. The 98 sport I had was one color and no chrome and it had "sport" decals on the side. More than likely an SLT.

A 2000 Sport would have a body matched colored fascia, and rear bumper. They also had a "Sport" decal on the rear side of the hood.

Your door decals would lead me to believe your Ram was a sport, but someone has changed the front end.

^or... someone put sport decals on the doors which is more likely than a whole front end swap and sport decal remove..

The door on the OP's truck looks to have the standard Ram 1500 magnum V8 logo.

Ususally the Sport has dual bulbs as opposed to the base model. As to how to determine the two. I still have no idea.
