shell rotella 10w30 best oil out there for the price and keeps my motor quiet and clean.

5.7l Hemi's use 5w20 and 5w20 only! any other oil can and will set codes for oil control valve performance, see it all the time at work.

as for brand, I've only used mobil 1 in every vehicle I've owned. good stuff

I use Mobil 1.....5W20 of course.

I use royal purple in my avenger think I'm gonna try it in my ram but they say once you use it don't switch to anything els are it could do more harm then good

Amsoil is the way to go. Tough to beat 25,000 mile oil change intervals with oil that out performs everything mentioned above. Check it out, http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=128076
