Tow hooks for '11 sport
I've had my Ram for almost a year now and am slightly annoyed that I don't have any tow hooks. I ordered the BRP grappler hitch so that I have something in the rear but would also like an option for the front end. Has anyone installed tow hooks on the front of their sport? any input would be greatly appreciated.

I installed a set of the factory ones, they come with the bolts and everything you need. All you need to do is cut out the plastic piece and it looks great. Heres a link for a set:

Im so glad I started surfing this site.... under a month and I've already spent over a G lol. Have a feeling thats nothing compared to other trucks I see here.

Another new thing I found out that I need to order now, Thanks

Was at a local dealer this eve & none of the trucks (about 35) had tow hooks. Would think dealers would automatically put them on some base orders. Maybe they make a few extra bucks doing the install.

I put the hooks on my Sport as well.
In my job, I go to a lot of wrecks.
I was recently talking to a tow truck guy and he told me they never use factory to tow hooks to pull out a vehicle.
They always hook to the frame. He said factory tow hooks tend to get pulled of.
After installing my hooks, I can't imagine this happening to our trucks.
I just thought his comment was interesting.
