99 2500 cummins STEERING TURNS FREELY LEFT, Normal Right

I have a 99 2500 with a Cummins, the problem is the steering turns very freely (free wheels full left) you just barely flip it left and it goes full travel. What is causing this, how do i fix it, and any idea how muck it will cost if i diy it?
I have read somewhere that one of the springs in the steering box is stuck open abnd allows the fluid to port freely causing this problem. Any help is appreciated.

Nobody ever have this issue or know what it is? Is there anyone on this site?

Not heard of this one sir, sorry.

My factory service manual doesn't cover it either.

I'd try contacting Ramtech on here, see if he or one of the other service techs might know.
