Weight of 20 inch wheels and tires?

anybody know what the weight is of the OEM 20" wheels AND tires on the 2012/2013 Ram 1500?

I figuring at least 32 lbs for the wheels and 40 lbs for the tires for a combo
weight of 72 lbs, but would be curious to know for sure.

Thanks

I would be afraid to say on the wheels but I would guess you are close. You are very close on the tires because my Cooper Zeon all-terrains in the stock size are about 47 pounds each.

IIRC I believe I saw somewhere that the stock set up weighs in around 82 lbs. I was going to weigh my stockers, but got side tracked and they sold before doing so.

That would not surprise me.
Most 20 inch wheels seem to weigh in the 30 lbs (very light ones) to
40 lbs (a bit above average) range.
The tires on Tirerack seem to be in the 38-45 lbs range too depending on brand.

So 82 lbs is very plausible.
Would still be curious to know if anybody has weighed them and knows for sure.

Guys have weighed the stock chrome clads and Wranglers and come up with 74lbs. I've seen it a few times now.

If i knew where my bathroom scales were, i could tell you, my tires & wheels are in my bedroom

Porky wheels. Just wish I had the dough for some nice forged ones.

You find your bathroom scale yet? lol

Seems based on this thread, people are saying between 74 and 82
That seems like a pretty large range.
As stated, the stock tires are listed on Tirerack at about 41-42 lbs.
So if somebody has the weight of the combined wheel/tire combo, it's an easy deduction to know what the stock 20" wheels weigh.

thx

75lbs for sure. I had to weigh each one to ship them. Chrome class on wranglers w/ 5000miles

This is fairly accurate. Mine weighed in at 72lbs as well before selling them
But many here weighed theirs and it fell between 72-75 lbs
