02 ram 4x4 leveling kit help!
 
i recently bought a ready lift leveling kit(torsion key). i had it installed and my installer had cranked it all the way to the maximum 3 in of front lift the keys can allow. I have read that riding with the maximum 3 inches is bad for the cv joints. The truck now sits one inch higher in the front than the back. But tomorrow i am taking it in to get lowered an inch so it is completely level and re-alligned. i also ordered pro comp es9000 shocks that ready lift recomends. Right now my truck rides incredibly hard due to the fact that the shocks are originally 15 in shocks, but now its been cranked up 3 in higher and the shocks are maxed out. just wondering if any other 02 4x4 guys have had this problem? let me know if i am headed down the right path with everything, thanks guys!

Why would he crank them so the front was 1" higher than the rear?
General rule of thumb is about 2" max for longevity of parts, 3" is pushing it (but thats a moot point now).
The harsh ride is coming from the torsion bars being cranked, there is no way around that when you crank them. The new shocks will help the ride, but it's not going to soften the ride up any.

Personally I would put the stock keys back in and sell the aftermarket ones. I would then crank the stock ones to level it out, pick up some 2" longer shocks with better valving then call it a day.
