Loving the 4x4

I never have had 4wheel drive till I bought this truck. I had an 03 reg cab long bed with the 5.7 and I went backwards more than forwards during the winter time. And I got stuck on wet grass a time or two. It snowed a lot here over the past few days about a foot and I drove in a lot that had about 8 or 9 inches of snow just waiting to be played in. I drove in in 2wheel did half a doughnut and truck just dug in and stopped. I put in 4wheel high and she just plowed right thru. I did few doughnut and figure eights I did notice the next day at about 50 mph a hard shaking and then this thud sound. I realized that the snow in the wheels was throwing off the balance and it was coming off into the wheel wells. Scared me at first I thought I broke something. Anybody else have any similar story's please share.
