Vibrations and bogging

Hi I am new on the site. I recently purchased a 2011 Ram Sport. I traded in a 06 silverado. I don't know if it is just me or if there is something wrong but I feel like the truck doesn't want to shift down when I give it gas. It will vibrate at 45 mph and 65 mph when I give it gas to speed up. I have heard that it is just the way the motor reacts because it is trying to conserve fuel economy. Any advise or input would be great. Happy to have found a site with some much interaction!

Neither the bogging nor the vibrations are normal operation. There is a PCM flash that will improve the shifting, so check with a dealer and see if it's been done to your truck. They should perform this at no charge as long as the warranty is valid.

Either that or the MDS is trying to kick in the other 4 cylinders.
