DOZER 1 01-09-2013 02:22 PM

Hi, I have a 1998 Dodge 2500 Ram 4X4 pickup with a V10 , No Heat !! , I have the Radiator front blocked, Restricted the water pump hose from 1 1/4"
down to 1/2" , Installed a 1 1/2" Brass Valve on the upper radiator , and tuned into where its about 95% closed, The truck doesn't overheat, all I can get is 160-170 Degrees after idling for a half hour. Then if you drive it , it cools down more. Shot the lower radiator hose , and radiator and it reads 50 -65 Degrees . The fan is working correctly , and yes I have put Three different Thermostats in. Have bleed all the air out, and even had it back flushed . Any Ideas ????? Thanx's Dozer

I am running a 185 t-stat, and mine runs about 170-180. I am no other help than that.

I have never checked mine. But it never fails when you want them to run warm they don't. It seems that the V-10s run cold. My heater works but my temp gauge never gets above 1/4 off cold unless I'm pulling hard.
