diablo update question

Ok, before I tear apart my truck and house, I have the Diablo sport predator with the computer interface kit however I can't remember if it came with a power adapter or not. How else would you power up the predator while trying to update via desktop? Thanks for any help!

I don't have the predator but I have the Trinity. It will power up from the computer when you connect it. Draws a charge from the computer. Maybe yours does too?

wickedpissahtruck 01-16-2013 08:50 PM

Hmm...I'll try that again. Maybe try a different port? Does your Trinity have a spot for an AC adapter?

bighemi04 01-16-2013 10:11 PM

No AC adapter. Just a USB and the OBD II

wickedpissahtruck 01-18-2013 09:47 PM

Guess i will have to try a different USB port then. Thanks for the help BigHemi!

It does come with a power adapter. One end plugs into the top of the predator and the other end into a 110 volt electrical socket.

Yep, requires a power adapter, it will not power from USB

bighemi04 01-22-2013 12:01 PM

O a predator not a trinity. Apologies for the mis information..

wickedpissahtruck 01-24-2013 06:42 PM

No worries BigHemi, thanks for the info above posters. Looks like i got some digging to do. In the event (probable) that I cant find the adapter that came with it, any reason I cant go out and purchase a universal one?

slowram 01-24-2013 10:53 PM

Mine has a universal power adapter but why couldn't you just plug it into the obdII and your computer at the same time. If that doesnt work, my power adapter is a dynex model number DX-AC1200 and its set to 12 volts.
