hey guys im new to this.
hello everyone just picked up my new dodge 2007 ram 5.7... love the truck but was checking some stuff out and i have this box with a light on under my dash, not really sure what it is cant really get a pic posted right not but i will try later and if anyone can tell me that would be great, hope im doing this right.Thanks

If I had to guess, I'd say maybe an OBD2 reader (if it's plugged into your OBD2 port of course.) Or maybe an aftermarket security system. A picture would be great though.

well the light comes on and stays on under the steering wheel but the truck does have remote idk if that box is for that or what the hell it is pretty sure its not a programmer but then again i could be wrong no buttons or anything just a box with some wires ran to it and a little green light on it that shines threw my dash... :i_rolleyes:

yea but you wouldn't put an amp under the dash would you? any way you could take a pic of either end that might have a model number or label? And can you watch it when you hit the buttons or remote start and see if you can get the lights to react?
