Upsizing a little

Any idea if 315-70-17 will fit my 2010 2500? They are just shy of 35" and shy of 12" wide. What offset rims will I need, or will I even need them?

Good luck and please keep us updated on how you make out.....

Should fit with a leveling kit.... But idk stock. I ran 35s on my
Mega cab with a leveling kit, 03 2500 with a leveling kit and 06 2500 with a leveling kit. I think you'll have some rubbing at stock. But get a leveling kit. Won't affect ride quality at all, keeps warranty, easy install, fairly cheap, gives you more ground clearance. Get ready lifts or pro comps.

Well I decided to take off my 265-70-17's and put my 285-70-17 Cooper AT3s back on. While I was at the local tire shop I had them try a 315-70-17 tire to see if anything rubbed up front. Here is a pic of the AT3s next to the larger tire (Kelly brand).

Here is a pic of what they look like on the front. They rubbed the top control arm so.....Need to know what offset rim I'll need to fit a larger set. Anyone?

BTW, I'm not buying these tires I just used them to try out the size. Gonna go for the Treadwright Guard Dogs. I hope they make an E rated tire in this size.

they don't make an E rated tire in a 315. they only have D.

Yeah, I emailed them and a Phoebe aswered and told me that. I'll probly get them anyway. Won't be hauling real heavy loads often so...I'm good. If I do I'll just put on the AT3's. Another tire tech told me to run an 10" wide rim with a Neg. 5 offset. Does this sound right??

i don't know about the 10 inch wide but you are certainly gonna need a wheel with neg offset. i would think the 315s would fit on a 9 inch wide wheel. i know guys that ran 315s on the stockers.
