Upgrading wheels, adding cold air intake and tonneau cover, suggestions please!

Hey All,

Just purchased a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi Laramie Crew Cab. The truck looks great already but I wanted to get some suggestions from the seasoned vets around here!

First, the wheels. My Truck is black/chrome. I wanted to get some primarily black wheels with the same setup (60R20, 275's, 20", 5x5.5..correct me if I'm wrong). I've been looking at some nice procomp's, the 8188, but I don't see any that will fit my current build, anyone have any good resources and suggestions, I would like to keep that cost to about $1,000.

Next, should I go with the K&N filter for a cold air intake? What's the best on the market?

Finally, the bed cover, would like a black hard tonneau cover, anyone have great luck with a certain brand?

Thanks for the help all, I'm looking forward to making my Ram awesome for the road.

Cheers,
Wes

I got some 20x9 dick cepek torque wheels in black with a little machine part for $800 with tax mounted and balanced. Undercover is the one most of my coworkers use and seem to like. I have the ram box so I am going with the bak flip. There is a write up on a S&b cold air setup that is a bit nice than the k&n it's what I plan on ordering for my hemi

Rims I gotta say Cepek are really nice, and sturdy too if your into offroad. Do your reviewing though first. Some of those lower grade wheels have substandard finishes that easily come off when your back country, I've had some experience. As for your tonneau you cant go wrong with the Bakflip if you're wanting the hard cover. Soft cover there are a few options, I personally like the trifecta trifold. Its cheap and easy to open and close. Cold air I use a K&N on my F150 and a Airraid on my ram. Performance wise they are equal but I love the sound I get out of the Airaid.
Hope that helps!

John
