To all those who remember me...I'm back!

Hey everyone...long time no post since I traded my 98 Ram SS/T.

But, wanted to let everyone know, I'm back! I now have a 1996 Dodge Ram Indy Pace Truck.

She needs some lovin', but it ran solid enough to drive it 400 miles home from Ohio.

Needs a bed (no big deal), a roll pan, and something in the trans that makes it not like shifting into drive (I think governor pressure solenoid).

I'll post some pics tomorrow though. Feels good to be back...I missed my SS/T a lot...so...this is a close replacement once I get it right. Interior is mint. :)

Also now own a 1987 Dodge Charger GLHS #820 of 1000. So, TenneSST, if you're still around here... :smiley_thumbs_up:

But hi again everyone!

I'll get some pics tomorrow...supposed to be decent out.

Its been in the teens and sleeting here lately...not really ideal 2wd picture taking weather...haha

Ok...here's some pics.

Truck needs a front bumper, a bed, and a rear roll pan (bumper disappeared...lol). Frame, cab, and fenders are all solid. Runs strong as hell.

But, she's a little rough, but a little tlc and she'll be back in full swing. My plan is to lower it, I have a set of 18x9 and 18x10" torq thrust I'm going to put on it with the widest meat I can find, and larger sway bars, etc...and eventually a manual transmission.

I want to make it a corner carving truck. Just blow everyone's mind :p

And I have the tailgate...but the one hinge on the bed was rusty :/ The bed needs to go...haha. 6 bolts and she'll have rust free one.

And here's a pic of my dad's, before and after just to show what we're capable of. We've kinda become the Indy Pace truck rescue...3 of his friends also own them now...hahaha.

And yep...thats his police car in the background...hahahaha

Got pics of the GLHS? I like those 20" steel wheels on the Indy. I'd like to have a set for my truck to change things out every so often.

strang3majik 03-30-2013 02:08 AM

Well....the GLHS ownership was short lived :/ Had issues that I couldn't get sorted out. :(

But...here's some pics of that...was a solid, very fast car. Supposedly around 375hp, which I believe. 1-4th were useless. PO ran a 13.4 on street tires with it. But it only ran good like that for a week in my ownership and a lifter sheared off...come to find out someone put a non roller cam in with roller rockers. I fixed it, but it never ran right again after that. I couldn't figure out why. Timing was perfect, fuel pressure perfect. Compression was good...no codes. Idk :/
