Can someone explain parameters of a tune?

By this I mean, I've got the Diablo Sport inTune and other than some of the basics like throttle, tire size, etc. I admittedly have no idea how or if to change any other parameters.
Can anyone help me out? I've read a few things that would suggest I'm not the only one questioning this.
If it would help I can try to get screen shots of each possibility maybe this weekend.

Thanks in advance!

just get a custom tune. that way you don't mess anything up and you get the most out of your truck and tuner

Unless you have the desire to datalog and read the logs, then you really shouldn't mess with the spark, fuel, or shift point adjustments. If you start playing with the spark or fuel trims then you should really have an air/fuel gauge so you can see what the changes are doing. If you have this, then you can start tweaking the ratios to optimize the various rpm bands, but be very careful you don't lean it out or you'll start knocking or worse.

I would recommend the custom tune as well if you're new to a programmer.

I just dowloaded my trinity and didnt change anything except tire size. On my uncles challenger I remember he was data logging and whe he increased throttle by 20% it was pulling alot of timing. 5-10% throttle is what im going to try next. Like stated leave the rest alone or get a custom tune.
