A Body Lift

As of right now, my 2008 2 door is all stock and I want to get a 2" leveling kit and a 3" body lift but I don't know anything about these things so I need more information, advice, etc..

5" lift will look nice on a set of 35's....but if u do have the v6 they might be a little brutal lol

Zmuch,
I have a 2008 Quad Cab that has a 2.5" leveling kit along with a 3" Zone body lift. With this I was able to add 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers on the stock rims without any rubbing so this will show you kind of what your truck will sit like.

Never seen 37s on the stock wheels with only a body lift. How does the zone body lift compare to the PA? Didnt even know they made one

That truck looks great!

The above is NOT only a body lift....so please do not get that confused.
The above poster bascially has a 5.5" lift which is equivalent to many 6" lifts out there....so yes, 37's will fit with the right offset rim or spacer.
On our 4th gen rams, the 37's will not fit on stock rims without a spacer
Not sure what Barbarian's stock wheel offset are.
Ours are +19.05 and they are already 3/4" away from the a arm on a 10.5-11" wide tire

Wow thanks for the complements from everyone.
Sinistersix, as fastNugly mentioned I was able to fit the 37" Nittos on with both the 3" Zone body lift + the 2.5" leveling kit I installed for a total of 5.5” lift. I also have the adjustable Bilstein 5100’s but I left them at the stock height as I already had the leveling kit in. As for comparing the Zone body lift to the PA I read a lot before purchasing and after seeing the extremely beefy bumper brackets that came with the Zone compared to what I saw in the PA kit was why I went with Zone and couldn’t be happier that I did as it was an easy install. fastNugly, I’m not sure what the stock offset on the ’08 wheel is but that’s what these are. One thing that may have helped though is that the Nitto 37” Trail Grapplers are listed at 37x12.50R20LT where most other Mud tires I looked at in a 37” were listed as 37x13.50R20LT so maybe the 1” difference in width helps too?
