Gas mileage?

I have a 2010 dodge ram crew cab 4x4 with 3.55 gears. I am getting 17 mpg. Can I add something to my truck to get better?

There isn't much that can be done to make a truck get good gas mileage.

You say that you're getting 17 MPG, is that around town, on the highway, or a combination of both?

I've got a '10 CC, 1500 with the 3.55, I don't have 4WD. I typically will get 12-14 MPG around town, and about 22-24 MPG on the highway. It depends on conditions such as how much stop and go, how heavy I am on the pedal, and when on the highway what speed I'm running... I do better at 65 than I do at 75...

I get 13 mpg in city driving and 19 on the road my average speed is 60-65 on highway. I know that's not bad but could I add something that might help

Not much U can do be happy with what U are getting. I'm netting a whopping 9mpg at best right now with winter fuel, around 11 or 12 in the summer.

52,000 miles and avg around town 14-15, road 19-22 on avg. headers with cold air kit will make it run like it's down hill all the time

My 10 Hemi Ram has 3.23 gears and gets about 20 mpg city & hwy combination.

The best gas mileage I've ever calculated from my 2012 Express 2WD RCSB with 3.92 gears is 18.7-18.9.

Hey I am averaging about 17-18 around town and 20 on the highway. Best advise is not to use the cruise and stay as close to the speed limit as possible. Hard to do I know!!

drive it like you are barefooted and pressing on red hot coals if you want the best MPG your truck can deliver .

...plus apply the brake least as possible, air up the tires to max. pressure.
