17" tire size help

First of all sorry if this has been asked already, I found one thread, but needed more info.

I want to buy Mickey Thompson classic 3's in 17x9, they have a -12 offset.
Can't decide on tire size.
I have Bilsteins set at 2.1.
Looking at Nitto Trails in either 305/70/17 or 295/70/17.

Will the 305's fit without rubbing? I want a bigger tire look, but don't want a tire that will give me problems while off road.
Thanks in advance.

go for 315 70 17's will fit no trouble, i had mine on with my bills @ 2.8 and no issues and my rims arnt as offset as yours, you can run a 35X12.5 no prob, the fierce mt at canadian tire look pretty sweet and go on sale pretty often.

I guess if 35's will fit, the 295's or 305's will also work. Don't want to run 35's as they look good but will suck some power. My friends Cummins is running those Fierce tires and really likes them.

yip those should be fine...305's i think you are a 34" tire and 295's slightly less again
