TPMS Help!!!

Gents,

I have a 2012 Ram and just installed a set of SRT wheels and tires and now I have a TMPS (Tire pressure monitoring system) light. I have done the simple air them up and drive fore 20 minutes but the light is still on. I know that all the tires (to include the spare) have over 35 PSI and am now thinking that I may not have the correct valve stem pressure sensors or maybe one is not operating correctly. Is there any way to shut that damn idiot light off? What are my options?

Where did you get the sensors from? I got a set of 433 mhz sensors off Ebay, and had no problems at all. Try disconnecting the battery to clear the memory. Does the shop you got them at have a programmer? Maybe they can reset them for you.

I bought used rims and tires. I was not aware they did not have the sensors. Now I have the tire pressure idiot light on and it is driving me nuts.

You need the sensors to make the light go away. I got mine off ebay for 50 bucks.

When I first had the 26s installed I had the same light. Come to find out there weren't any sensors installed like I thought they were. Find a shop and they will install the sensors and program them for you.
