rough country 6inch lift?

Okay so my income tax came in and the gf/wife gave me permission to get a lift and tires. My plan is to do a 6inch lift with fuel wheels (haven't decide which ones) and 37inch tires. My shop is saying that the rough country lift alone will fit 37 and it will be level with out bilstines. I also plan to get a trinity tuner. They are also telling me that i will be fine not regearing it. Is this all sound correct?

your wife AND your gf? nice nice do they know? jk
sounds good to me, I'm no lifting expert so others will chime in. can't wait to see your set up! must have been a nice return gettin all this! it's gonna be a pretty penny.

I have a 6" RCX with my bilsteins at 2.1" with no added lift to the rear and I sit nose high by .75". With bilstein at 1.4" you will sit level. So you will not be perfectly level with just the 6", however it will no be overly noticeable.

With my 8.1" of lift I still rub on 37s, but this can be because I have 20x10 Fuel wheels.

You will be fine without regearing but it will not be perfect. I have 3.55 (even 3.92) and I definitely lost power and mpg. It also much harder on my trans. Now am I happy with my setup? Absolutely. Would 4.56 be a much better modification? absolutely! You will be no where near stock with stock gears. For me it is just enough to keep me satisfied. They are probably telling you that because re-gearing a 2012 is a PAIN!

My build thread is below if you wants pics etc.

If you have any other questions let me know.

Where in TX are you?

Yep, sound like what I did. I have the 6" RCX lift, 37" Nitto Trails on 20X12.5 Moto metal wheels with 0 offset...no rubbing. Mine doesn't sit exactly level but after you have it done, you won't care!

I know exactly where that is. I grew up in Katy (W. Houston) and had a shop in Katy do my setup.

the reason he is rubbing is he has toyos which measure in at 14'' wide... if you go with a 12.5 you will be fine and wont rub. sounds like it will be great but it will be sluggish no matter what your gearing is it wont be the same at all..

The RCX 6 inch kits here my buddies have don't sit perfectly level. They do look good as is though, IMO.

Good point....

And I agree about the re-gearing
