20x9 or 20x10 wheels??

I have a 12 ram crew cab 4x4. I am trying to decide btwn the two. The tire place seems to think a 20x10 will rub with just a leveling kit. I am going to run a 305/55/20 nitto. I just like the lip better on the 20x10 and that is the same setup I had on my 05 ram with no rubbing. Has anyone else ran into this or running the 20x10 on a new ram??

I'm wondering the exact same thing. I'll be interested to see what people have to say about this. It was look at 20x10 with a -12 offset. From the calculations and comparisons I've done I'm thinking that should work (with 35x12.5 tires).

What about 20x9.5

A friend just put the moto metal 962's on his this week but ended up getting the 20x9. They only offer the 962's in 20x9 or 20x12. They look good but just not enough lip on them. I found a gear alloy 726 that looks like the 962 but offered in a 20x10 with alot more lip to them. I am hoping someone else is running this same setup b/c I am ready to order and have all of this done.

This is a tad vague.....
What's the offset of those 20x10?
If you're leveling (2.5") you can fit 20x10 with a -24 offset and 33" Toyo MT's.
I mention the MT's as they have sidewall tread and are therefore wider due to them.
So that said, those AT tires and a 20x10 -24 offset will fit.

Now it maybe too wide for your liking as you'll probably want flares to protect that paint or newly washed truck, so I'd do a 20x10 -12 offset (5" backspace) and they will still fit in there.

Mind you this is based on you leveling. But you did say you were doing so.

If you need any parts, I'd be happy to take care of you and extend the member discount

My 2013 4x4 with a 2" level with 20x9 +12 offset with 285/60r20 Duratracs plenty of room. with a 0 offset or negative I could put a wider tire.Still could go bigger but these were swapped from my 09 2wd.

I remember your red one

Black looks good with those wheels.

Yes, if you went more negative you could have gone wider.
You still can as the are 1/4" further out and is equivalent to someone running a 1/4" spacer.
Food for thought

Thanks for the info. I am heading to the shop tomorrow to get a better look at rims. It is such a hard decision. Now I am going back and fourth btwn the nitto terra or mickey Thompson atz's.. Have to do some more research on that though.

I'd go with the ATZ hands down.....I've heard nothing but good things (same goes for Terra's) but the ATZ are just a beautiful AT tire
