i have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 4x4 thinking about changing headers to paceasetters longtubes with a off road y pipe and a AT3030 and pipe it right before the wheel like side exhaust would this work how loud would the truck be what are the gains high or low end would codes show would the tone be deeper and more throate but not raspy ,also i have the AT3030 now should i cut the cats out and weld a pipe there to see if i like it any advice??

it will be a loud setup so if you like loud, your on the right track... big difference in sound and performance going catless compared to cats, but, that's at wot driving. For normal driving you may lose some low end performance... what other mods do you have?

you will throw cat codes unless you can have the rear O2 sensors tuned out with a diablo custom tune..
