I'm taking my sons hemi to atco today. We raced it last fall with the 3.21 gear and no posi,it ran a 14.23 with a tune.
Today we have 4.56's and posi so lets see what happens.

Good luck, hope you hit some good times. I am curious to see how the gearing and tire set up affect the truck.

bluebeast ran 13.20s all night last night he might have even done a 13.19 after I left. on 3.55 gears! he has the b&g tune longtube headers and some drag slicks

I thought I had a good day until I read your post,13.40's and 13.20's with just a tune, headers and tires.
Anyway I raced the truck on the stock 33" tires and just the gears and tune.First pass it spun hard 13.91.
Next pass I dropped the air pressure and run a 13.82@99.17 w/2.03 60' on a hot lap.
Made a couple more hot laps and ran 3 more 13.80's then I let the truck sit for a hour and
Made a best pass of 13.72@99.79 w/2.000 60'
Now for the excuses, the 4.56's with the 33" tires seem more like 3.73's it crossed the traps at 5000 in fourth.Next week my son is going to run the short drag radial and I think it might run a 13.40-50 at 100-101mph with a 1.9something 60'

I read bluebeasts mods and going by them I think I'm on the money for my times.my sons truck could use that stall converter big time,1.67 60' would put our truck in the teens aloan.

You know its funny that my 5.0 F150 that runs 12.60's with a stall and gears only 60' 1.77 but it pulls much harder once it gets moving 107 mph and the beast 60' is great but the ram just doesnt pull as hard through the high end.

It's because the 2011s and up shift points aren't really sticking (diablo hasn't fully cracked the tuning 100%)...we can only rev to 5900rpm anything more and you will bounce off the rev limiter (locked at 6k). Plus the 5.0 is an higher rpm motor (stock), they can easily rev to 6500-7000rpm which helps hold the gear longer and putting your shift recovery at a greater rpm. Swapping to 6.1L valve springs is a must if you want to safely rev a Hemi that high but until all the tuning perimeters are fully unlocked we are SOL anyway (2011s and up). These 4gen hemi's have good potential but the tranny and the lack of aftermarket performance parts is the only thing stopping us.
