Looks good man! I have heard some ppl say it peels on the tips and some ppl say they have had it on the exhaust for a year. Still think it depends on prep work, since the tips dont even get that hot. Thinking about doing my wheels when i get back home from offshore. Post up some pics when u get them back on.

Looks good man. Did you scuff 'em up w/ some sandpaper? I think I'm gonna take mine off and paint the entire pipe, 'cause you can see a hint of the pipe on the truck and it just looks funny to me :4-looney:. Let us know how it holds up.

All i did was clean em off real good with a rag and 4 coats of plasti-dip.

I like em so far. I will be posting pics later this evening

If it doesn't hold up (hopefully it will) you'll need to rough 'em up with a scuff pad or some 320 grit sandpaper, and wipe down good w/ some rubbing alcohol. Good luck with 'em! :smiley_thumbs_up:

I was afraid to go with Plastidip on the tip because Im not sure it holds high temp.
So I just got a can of Black Flameproof VHT and it holds up pretty good so far.
Yours look great with dip, I just hope it holds

Well i put about 200 miles on em today. Maybe 30% city, rest around 75 mph on the highway. No problems.
I didnt sand and used the dip to see if i liked it, which i do!!

If it doesnt hold up very long ill just get some hi temp paint.

I think the hardest part was getting them lined back up right. I love having a new vehicles thats easy to remove parts. Lol

Looks great nice job, hope it holds up for you

I did the VHT red and it would look so good on the red truck.
