Spray in Bed-Liner Question

Here's the Low Down, I used to own a Ford Ranger which will explain a portion of the following question...

Well Guys I have $200 from gift certificates of Ford left over and I would like to use them. So I was thinking that if I would go through ford and have them spray on a bed liner. My Question is anyone have experience with Ford Bed Liners (I heard they subcontract Line-X at most places) and do you think they would do this to my Ram without having any fuss?

Line-X spray on is good & have a great warranty
If you are more into camping & haul pets around, you might look into
the BEDRUG

No experience with Ford and their spray-in bedliners, but look at the fine print of the certificates. They might be only valid for Ford brands and do they say it has to be done at a Ford dealership or can you go to a random line-x place?

I would have gone the bed rug way if my bed was in pristine shape but 35,000 Miles of use in the bed of the previous owner has left the paint finish in bad shape. I want the spray on since it will lock out moisture and prevent rust where the scratches are the worst.

I'll have to check with ford to see if my Gift certificates apply if I bring the truck myself (I have a feeling it won't). And It depends by Ford dealership, some places contract Line-X others have Toff or something like that so i have to check to see which one they use in my area.

It would be great to save $200 bucks on the spray on so I could do it now instead of waiting when more money comes it. That's why its crucial that I use those gift certificates through Ford.

Getting the truck Line-X tomorrow. How long should I wait to install my tonneau Cover?

GTyankee 03-04-2013 09:36 PM

It only takes 5 minutes or less for the Line-X to set
Likely they will explain it all to you

I'm not the one dropping off the truck or picking it up from Line-x. Going through a Ford dealership since I have a $200 discount through them and I doubt the ford tech will ask.

Line-X people love to talk about their product
just call them yourself
i was incorrect on the setting time, as you will hear & see
