35's on my stock ram
Just wondering if its possible to put 35x12.5's onto my stock 89 ram W150. Its got the stock lift and 31x10.5's on it right now. I cant seem to find a straight answer online or from friends. Some say i just need a wheel spacer others say a 2" lift. Any experience from you guys?

you need at least a 2" lift to fit 35" tire. if you plan of taking it off road you may want at least 4" lift or you end up having tires come in contact with the wheel wells. it is probably also not a wise idea to be running 35" tires with the stock gears. most trucks came from the factory with 3.55 gears which is ok for turning the stock 31's but with 35's and stock gears will put a lot of stress on things and you may end up breaking things like drive shafts or axles.

on another note did you use to own a 91 Dakota - 3.9 - 5 speed - 2 wheel drive and 81 Dodge power Ram - 360- Four on the floor?

Yeah I owned the Dakota up till a year and a half ago or so and I did have a white 81 4x4 for a while yeah

that would be why i recognized the used name. you asked a similar question on dodge forum a while ago. you wanted to know if you could fit 31's on your 81.

must have been quite a while ago, i dont even remember doing it. Yeah that poor ol truck didnt end up working out. In the end it made a pretty good truck box trailer though.
