kinda interested in getting one... i offroad alot.. and drive cross country a lot..... but i know NOTHING about them.. if anyone could help me as far as what to look for? what to get? how to use them proporly? yup cb newb thanks in advance

Most certainly I would look to a Cobra brand CB with built in SWR tuner capabilities to start, it will make tuning your antenna much simpler. Speaking of antenna, you could go magnet roof mount with a Little Wilson Antenna, or go with a firestick hood mount. Do a little research on some CB sites, it's not hard to set up, but information in powerful.

Get a radar detector and a dog. Probably be more entertaining. Lol. J/K, to each his own.

i would by a good cobra like someone else stateed and take it to a cb shop if u got one anywhere near ya and get some more power to that bad boy that way u can walk all over people trust me when u going thru a big city with a lot of radio traffic its nice to have a powerful radio oh yea definitly i would go with 2 wilson antennas attached to the bed rails
