Exhaust system help

Hello everybody!

I am in need of some suggestions to what I should install for an exhaust system in my '96 5.9l. I need something that is street legal, but still has a mean sound. All my buddies are either Ford or GM guys so they arent any help! Let me know what you or you're buddy has for exhaust set-up. Oh and any suggestions on headers too. Will be much appreciated!

Thanks, Ryan

I had to look it up myself so I knew I was sending you the right direction.....

What you are looking for is the gibbson super truck side exit exhaust. As for headers; if you got the dough for them, pacesetter makes long tube that will add GOBS of torque. But to use them you will need to have new Y pipes fabbed up. Otherwise, a set of stainless ebay shorties like what I got fit the bill nicely, for under $150.00

On mine currently I run stock manifolds through the factory cat with a 3in inlet and outlet flowmaster super 10 out to a dual exhaust out the back. My plans in the future are pacesetter headers and the magnaflow California 3000 cat but for now I think it sounds great! Sounds great at idle and screams at high rpms. I think so far I spent like 60$ on the muffler and 200 on the dual exhaust work.
