got some plastidip from the ups man today so away we go! did my badges to :smileup:

Nice job! The good thing is, it's only plasti dip... if it starts to wear in a few months it's not like it's the end of the world, just throw another coat on

Sorry but plastidip is definitely not a good idea for the running boards, or any other part that has frequent direct contact/handling (door handles, etc). I had the same conversation with my buddy about doing the running boards on his Ford F350 and he went ahead and did them anyway and they began to wear and the chrome show through almost immediately...

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of plastidip and plan on doing my grill and tailgate badges here shortly, but it's not the proper product for some applications.

yea i didnt figure it would last i just did it because the wife demanded the running boards go back on with the leveling kit and big tires...i dont want them on but i thought id try and see if i liked them in black or not
