Ok ok just a thought for better gas mileage

I know I'm new to this forum but I was a long time member on charger forums...

Looking around and reading everyone is complaining of mileage and gas... Has any one ever try to put a HHO generator(browns gas) and if so did it help?... Did it do worse?.. Some YouTube videos people are swarring up and down that it works... So I'm just curious and interested in starting a conversation with the truck guys...heck I know I'm in that category with the 10-12 mpg area and I would like to see higher numbers..

P.s I have a knn filter and just changed to a magnaflow muffler...

So what are your thought my new fellow truck brothers?...

Good night:smileup:

That MYTH has been around for a long time. If it was true, don't you think every including the manufacturers would do it? Everything on the internet is true! HAHA

Well if you remember a documentary "who killed the electric car" it's on YouTube u can see it.. Ford made a car that ran over 100 miles on 1 charge...and then all of a sudden the repo'ed all the cars... Almost Ike the want us really DEPENDANT on gas.. U know us Americans lol... We like big cars... Heck if I can get a few more miles to the tank ill be happy. Sometimes we have to not go with the flow I guess...

So has any one ever try it?

And as for the car companies to do it...well. Like the drug companies...u know they say healthy herbs and life style doesn't really work...LOL

Then how can you explain the Chevy Volt? Nissan Leaf? Tesla? Fisker?

Let me put it this way. If it worked most of your neighbors would be doing it and you could see firsthand, but no it is just on the internet. Also every person on a vehicle forum woud be doing it and talking about it, and nobody does. I had a friend that was convinced it would work, and it doesn't. Another thing to think about is that a fuel injected motor is monitoring air fuel ratio to get the optimal burn in the cylinder in the motor. Now you are adding a very small amount of extra fuel in relation to how much air is going through the motor. Probably not enough to do anything and if it was, the fuel is not metered so there would be no control of how much hydrogen is added. And you are using energy that the motor has to produce to make the hydrogen, and I have not seen a true propetual motion motor yet. The ones you see on the internet are not true. You cannot have energy in= energy out= energy in on anything that has friction losses. I work at a power plant and we would add it to our boilers if it increased fuel efficiency.

What are you going to tell me next? Those vids I've seen of a water-powered engine that gets 300 mpg isn't true!?

They cant put anything on the Internet if it ain't true!!!! Lol....

As for leaf and volt... I think I can fit both of them in the back of my truck.....LOL.. And tesla... Well it was suppose to be for u know the middle class but can u afford 80k plus?.. Our stimulus package lolololololololol......

Any way this is not a pissing patch.. I was just curious if this has been done to a ram .. Thanks all..

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer. This just happens to fall in line with the leaf blower superchargers. I have an old folder from my grandfather on high mpg designs. Most involved fuel vaporizers, and Smokey Yunick built a Fiero with this idea and claimed 51 mpg. The principle behind fuel vaporizers is better air/fuel mixture. That is the same reason for development of direct injected engines today. If it was easy everybody would be doing it.

As a Volt owner, I'd like to see you try to fit one in the back of your truck. ;)

Now the salesproof Mitsubishi I-Mev maybe.
