offroad tire sizes

I've been told so many diffrent things about tires and whether they will fit my rim. I have a 2012 express with the upraded rim 20x9 i belive the same ones as the sports that year i was told that a 35x12.50r20 will not fit on my rim is this true if it is whats the biggest size i can fit on the rim the truck is lifted and i am putting a 1/4 wheel spacer

As far as I know there should be no issues. Buddy of mine had 35's on his '12 rcsb sport with stock rims and leveled. Runs 37's on them now with a full lift and wheel spacers I believe. I've seen lots of other trucks on here with 35's and stock 20's as well.

What lift are you running? Your truck is 4x4 correct?

Yup. You can run 35x12.5's on the stock 20x9's with a 1/4" spacer (provided you have a 2.5" level or lift). Tons of guys on the forum do it. You might have a bit of rubbing at full lock but that would be it.

I have seen rams with a 4" rcx lift with 35x12.5 on stock 20" Laramie wheels.

Are you concerned about light or any rubbing at full steering lock? What 35x12.50R20 tire are you specifically speaking of? An AT or an MT? What lift/level do you have?

They will fit HOWEVER the tire's aggressiveness may be the deciding ..... dependant on the lift you have.

I highly doubt whether an aggressive tire like a Mud Terrain will fit on the OEM rims even with the spacer..... dependant on the lift you have.

You get the point.

You definitely won't have a problem with that set up. You'll just need the 1/4" spacers to clear the UCA

Where are you getting the body lift from? Lots of times the lift companies make spacers. At least just 1/4" ones. I know Rough Country does for sure.
