0-60

Ok, so I just signed up a few minutes ago. I have a 2010 ram qc with 20s and 3.55 gears. My upgrades are, vararam air grabber, moes 87mmtb, superchips flashpaq and mufflex dod14m. When I do my 0-60 timed with data logging on the flashpaq, I'm at 6.8sec 0-60. Does this seem a little slow for my mods? IMO I thought it would be a little quicker after all that, oh and this is with a/c off and tc off. Give me your opinions thanks

dusterman 04-09-2013 10:13 PM

Turn tc back on. Thats your problem. Mine will spin all the way up to 40 mph before catching. Giving me horrible 6 sec 0 to60 wi5h traction on I get 5.4 secs. So try that and get back with us

CmRam 04-09-2013 11:49 PM

Ok I'll try that, it seems to grab pretty good even with it off too, some road surfaces it will peel out till 40 and others it grabs with barely a scratch, is that normal though?

TORMENTOR 04-10-2013 03:57 AM

Does seem a bit slow. My 0-60 is high 6's and I'm a cc with 3.55's and heavier 305/55/20 a/t's

My mods are hemifever tune with the 14" magnaflow.

CmRam 04-10-2013 07:54 AM

Hm, I thought 4x4 came with 3.92 in the rear or maybey the ds adds more than the sc?

TORMENTOR 04-10-2013 02:37 PM

Nope, 3.92 isn't standard on 4x4 models sadly

CmRam 04-10-2013 05:36 PM

I wonder if its the difference in tuners

TheSatinPumpkin 04-10-2013 10:37 PM

could be a lot of factors. location for one.

Gantman 04-10-2013 11:03 PM

That is very true! 84% or higher humidity on average here in Texas coming real soon. You can feel a big difference in engine pull when that humidity is down below 40% or less. Location, location, location. Hey CmRam, try some 30-31" diameter tires for a run and see how that feels.

^^We have the same problem here in the southeast. 100 degrees and the humidity is just ridiculous. It kills engine pwer big time. Prior to the Ram I only drove 4 cyl. cars, and it felt like they lost 30 horses during the summer.
