Alittle upset but also impressed with ram warrenty

So my truck just rolled over 40,000 miles in the first year and my ball joints, tie rod ends and drag links are shot! get it to dealer and they say they will check with ram warrenty and unfortunatly its out of the 36,000 miles warrenty and ram wont cover it. Well long story short they did some calling and more checking and Ram said they will replace it all under warrenty for me since " I've been a loyal dodge/chrysler customer" So i was happy with that but still a little disappointed that my 2012 2500 only lasted 40,000 miles until these parts went out. My 03 lasted till 75,000 and 06 lasted 80K and 06 made it to 75K as well. But still love the truck and will keep it for maybe another year before i get a new one

Did they say anything about the possibility that the leveling kit had anything to do with the front end parts failure?

Nope because its not a leveling kit. Its just heavy duty springs is all and they are the same height as the factory ones just dont allow the front to sag. Im used to it as said above with dodge front ends no biggie. i just thought they would last a little longer. but talking with one of the service guys he said actually 40,000 is good for these truck because he said fords are coming in woth only 20-25k on em and ball joints are bad and chevys are worse yet he said. I use my truck like it should be used and pull with her and things like this are to be expected i guess. Once again im not mad about it just thought id share my experience with warrenty and so far its been good. these new rams are hands down better quality than my older ones
