Newbie Question

I am new to trucks being as my daily commute is now under a mile round trip. My buddy is lifting his ram a bunch and is giving me his old full lift kit which is:

With that full lift kit will I need new springs or struts or anything new to put them on or can they just be installed? Probably sounds stupid but I am learning.

no sir you wont! those simply bolt onto the top of your spring and shock, which sits back in the pocket, creating the lift! good luck, and dont forget before pics and measurements, we all like to see results

Thanks, I am going to plastidip my rims at the same time and use them as my winter rims so may be a day long project!

Just throwing this out there...the only stupid question, is one never asked. You shouldn't ever feel like you're sounding stupid.

I would also love to see the results!!

Thanks for the kindness! I am hoping to do the install this weekend at some point if the rain ever lets up.

^^ Agree! I am full of questions!.. ask anybody, lol.. it's only stupid if you don't ask. ;)
Looks like you have a fun day planned. I hope the rain-maker puts a cork in it for you soon!

Good luck and have fun! Can't wait to see before and after shots!
