How does one turn on the "eco" light?

My friend has a 2011 Ram 2500 with a Hemi, he can't figure out how to turn on the "eco" light? Can anyone walk me thru the steps to help him out?

the eco light will automatically turn on when driving economically. Im not sure if the 2500's will have the eco mode or not.

The 2500 as I understand it does not have the ECO mode. The system in the 2500 does not switch from 8 to 4 cylinders.

^^ The Eco light and MDS are two different things.

Btw OP your friend has a 2500 hemi, never will it ever be economical haha

for sure nothing larger than a 1500 will have MDS, as of now

ECO mode indicator would just show when you are driving as efficiently possible
it is just a feel good thing, like a pat on the back

There is a setting to turn on/off the indicator on the center display where you can adjust door locks, lights with wiper etc… well on the 1500 anyway... not sure about the 2500.
