rockstar rims

hey guys/girls, i have a question, i have rockstar rims already but as some of you know the center caps stick out way to far, i cut the caps down but the bolts are still to long, anyone know where i can buy some different bolts?? i tried napa, autozone, orielly, advanced auto, home depot, lowes. i cant find any. i can find the right thread, but there just to thick to fit into the rims. i found some on sfx performance but im not paying over $100 for 16 bolts, i dont care what color they are, any help would be great thanks

Did you try searching for shorter bolts on Ebay? I had to do that for my Jeep! Best of luck!

I'm trying to picture what you need but drawing a blank. Anyway these guys, DMP Fastteners (dmpfasteners_dot_com) in Chatsworth CA have a huge inventory of chrome and standard fasteners in inventory . Worth a call to see if they have what you need, just give them the size and pitch of the bolts you are looking for.

Contact FastnUgly@discountautoperformance (long username, I know)...he did the same thing to his rock stars...he'll tell you how he did it!

The bolts for the center cap, I've tried ebay but there all just the standard bolt, over 3" long, I'm needing more of a 1 3/4" to 2" bolt, and ginefishin, is that a email?

Here you go:
You need to cut (1 1/4") and use socket head cap screws (M8x1.25 x 40) and it will work perfectly and they will sit flush.

I bought them locally at a shop called Brafasco

If you simply need shorter bolts, why dont you just measure carefully and cut the ones you have down, its free!
