Transmission noise

Alright guys I am new to this so I will try and get through it the best I can. I have an 2008 3500 4x4 mega cab. It has the 6.7 with auto tranny. My issue is going fron 3rd to 4th gear it makes a noise that the best way to describe it is it sounds like tires chirpping when you leave hard. It only does it inbetween 3rd and 4th and there is no slipping that it is appearent. Does anyone have any idea. It is the 68rfe six speed.:4-dontknow::doh:

Hmmmm I Have no clue what that is. Hopefully a tech will chime in. I will say that seems to be one of the weak points. I know my 06 Auto Cummins made some noises that worried me but had no problems when checked out

Hopefully you are right. Like I said it has no other issues and shifts fine in all other gears. I do haul alot as it is used as a hotshot rig. Usually gross around 25,000 lbs. I just serviced it so we will see.
