Federals or Nitto?

Hey all,

I can get (4) 35x12.50x20 Federal Couragias for $995 plus mount and balance. Or (4) Nitto Trail Grapplers for $1600 mounted and balanced. I just dont know what tire to go with. Any help would be great!

Thanks
Jeff

I have the federals and love them. awesome in the mud and look great. not terribly loud on the highway either.

go with what you can afford .

if money is no issue , go with what is the best looking to your eye .

Nitto is overpriced due to the demand .

I like both those tires but the Federal just look tuff.

now throw the wrangler duratracs in that mix --- that is were I was at before I found wheels and tires on craigslist -- so I get another year before I need to go nuts desiding on tires again.

hahah ^^^^^^ he must be drunk. his spelling is atrocious.

duratracs are good lookin tires.

can't beat the price of federals tho. and I'm in love with them

yea the price is awesome on the federals, just some stories of sidewall problems and low mileage out of them kinda worry me

gonefishin776 04-13-2013 09:04 PM

ya I can't commen ton mileage, I've only had them less than 10k but they have a good amount of tread left. and I've been offroad and A LOT highway will them and hit some mean pot holes and no problems

and I'm drunk so my spelling is atrocious :) sue me

their offroad tires are expensive. u can get 35" federals for like $260/ea and the same size nittos are like $350+/ea as he stated in his original post. now some will say federals are shitty...but I'm just spreading the word that mine are great and I've read way more positive reviews than negative
