So neighbor backed into my truck.....

and it doesn't look like he has insurance. Here is the damage: Tail light needs replaced, dent below light, bumper needs new paint(I think its straight), and plastic top for bumper needs replaced. Any input on what this will cost? Good place to order factory parts? Out for quotes tomorrow.

I have an extra bumper cover. Just pay shipping its yours.

I appreciate the offer. At this point it looks like the responsible party is actually going to cover the damage. If it falls through ill let you know.

Glad to hear they gonna man up to it.

One company quoted 1350 and another 1020. Incredible for the amount of damage but labor is expensive.

Ouch, the tail light won't be much.. but the spot where you got the dent is a very annoying location, right at the bend, so that and painting the whole bumper will be the pricey part... Previous driver of my truck backed it into something .. dented the corner and made it crooked.. most annoying thing in the world.. Just found out to that my work was going to pay for all body repairs from his mistakes.. pocketed the cash instead.

sorry it happened, if it makes you feel any better my wife has backed into my truck a few times, luckily my truck is lifted high enough that the explorer only really hits the tires and not much of my body panels.

I wonder if a good PDR man could massage that dent out from under the light?
