Options for Deleting

So with the EPA putting the axe to the tuners, what are my best options for a DPF/EGR Delete? Has anyone made a simulator or sensor fooler for these that works? I rmember with my trucks of past sensors could be easily foled but times have changed..

I just rolled over 1500 miles, and I'm really annoyed at the milage. More than anything I want to increase my MPG, power isn't really a problem. I'm reluctant to delete on a truck that doesn't even have a license plate yet, but I don't want to miss my chance on grabbing a leftover tuner if need be.

Best bet is to find a leftover H&S race tuner.

I've found a few, but most people want 1400+

I did find the ME software for the Smarty JR, thinking about going that route.

That would be the second best option.

I agree, either H&S or Smarty, in that order.
You can also try Sim's. Some have luck with them, others don't.

Up here in Canada we don't have laws against that, our local shops here receive H&S tuners with unlock codes to run the DPF delete kits. My best advice if you want to get deletes later on down the road is to make friends with the people on the other side of the boarder. Id imagine you can find a few distributors here that will send 'em down for you guys.

That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. I wonder how long it will take someone up in the great white north to start a website to sell them.

o0o even a good price.. http://lacustoms.ca/?product=mini-max-tunner or is that in Canadian money? rofl

You can also use a "street tuner" for delete purposes . I actually saw one for sale yesterday and the guy was asking $750 shipped I believe.
Personally I would go that route. Ryan has dones some pretty awesome stuff with their tuning recently, which I think should be released for the 4th gen guys very shortly. The Overdrive software IMO is a must have. It's the same tuning that RevMax uses on their transmissions...That alone makes a world of difference. I haven't had a chance to hand calculate very much, but my fuel economy is up by about 1mpg over the old H&S tuning..others have reported a little more.
