Bump Stop Cups?

Ok going through the Belltech 2/4 drop instructions. I noticed it shows a picture of a sawzall cutting off the forward cups. I have a grinder with cutting discs. Has anyone done it this way?? Don't really want to throw down more money.

I tried it that way and it didn't work for me, but the suspension was all back together. It might work when the suspension is apart and the LCAs are completely dropped, otherwise there's not enough room for the grinder. I would plan on a sawzall just in case. Just borrow one from a buddy if you have to.

The more I think about it, it probably would work with the suspension completely out of the way. I can't guarantee it, though...

I will just run to harbor freight and pick up a $20 sawzall. Thanks again

I used a cut off wheel with it apart.

I'm trying to save time and wanted to do the bumpstops a day before. So sawzall it is

12" long metal blade for the sawzall works best, but still a PIA

I ended up starting out with a sawzall and got annoyed quick so I broke out the grinder and ate some sparky metal and got them off in no time

Air chizel is the way to go, the sawzall is for the birds! I removed mine in about 2 minutes on each cup. lol
