Airlift 1000 question

I had the Airlift 1000 installed today at the local Dodge dealer, my question is what kind of compressor do you guys use for yours? I mainly will use it for camping so a portable one I'm assuming

I installed the Airlift WirelessOne compressor system with my bags. I figured it was worth spending the money to have the convenience of pressing a button any time I need to to inflate or deflate the bags.

If you want just a portable compressor that plugs into your 12v plug in your truck then I'm sure there are tons of options a your local auto shop or Canadian Tire/Walmart.

I have the wireless one compressor too. It works good and is only $255. Install took me 8 hours though I'm picky.

I use cheap $20 portable. Had to take 5 minutes and extend the cable another 6 feet.

Only takes seconds to fill with portable, I would much rather spend the $200+ wireless compressor money on something else for the truck. Its not like i use it every day. Maybe when I run out of mods it will appear on my list.

You can also just get an old 5-10 gallon tank and keep it in the trailer.

does installing these airbags increase the payload capacity at all?

I don't think they would legally let you carry more than your payload rating. But you could argue that the truck can handle more weight because of the airbags....

Airbags make the truck handle better near max capacity.

If you didn't install the air bags yourself, I would not recommend an on board compressor it would be too expensive to install.
