Blacked Out Copperhead Pearl

There aren't many pictures of this color yet as it was new for 2013 so thought I'd throw some out. I wanted to confirm that all black accents look good on this color before doing it permanently so like a ton of other threads, I used Plasti-Dip on all my badges and wheels. My friend runs an auto body shop and painted my tails and 3rd brake light for me. Windows are also tinted to 20%. I think it looks phenomenal and will be making the changes permanent in the near future. Only thing I think I will change is remove the RAM 1500 badges but leave the HEMI.

I'm normally not a fan of bright colors on trucks but I'll admit I just can't get enough of this color. I've lifted every 4x4 I've ever owned but I'm really digging the sport truck look.

Awesome! Definitely like the combo of the Copperhead and all the black accents. I think you've convinced me consider that colour for my next truck now.

On every screen I look at it looks orange... I so want this color on my Laramie Longhorn can you tell me what I might be able to compare it too?

Nice job on the blackouts btw

Thanks guys, I am thrilled with how different it looks from stock. As far as getting an idea of the color, best way to do it is to go look at a truck at a dealership. The first time I saw this color in person it was the most gorgeous color I’ve ever seen, then when I was playing around with the colors online I had to go to the dealer and double check it was the same color. It may look orange in the pictures and on the Ram website, but not even close to orange in person. Adding all the black actually made the paint look darker, almost a bronze at night and with all the pearl it just shines likes crazy in the sun.

I agree, wholeheartedly. If you are considering this color option, do yourself a favor and go see it in person. I was initially interested in it when I first saw the color chart online. Going to an actual dealership sealed the deal for me. The only downside was I'm getting a Big Horn and my local dealerships just had a couple of Sport's in Copperhead Pear. So, I didn't get to see the color and chrome accents together.

Also, the online pics on most of the dealerships websites do not do this color justice. The dealers photos will give the Copperhead color many different shades of "orange", with so many variations in those pics (inside, outside, flash, no flash, etc.).
