Ram is pissing oil

So I've had my oil changed from dealership for 1500 km now and just noticed oil in the drive. It's been pretty rainy lately so maybe I'm just noticing. I took some pics but will post later as I'm on my phone but its everywhere. I'm going to assume its a loose filter because I don't know what could be pissing oil that badly. Unfortunately it's Saturday and won't be able to take it in till Monday

You lost all that oil and got no warning from within the truck?

Ya most likely they never tightened the filter properly. it could also be a bad plug washer or not fully tight drain plug. Check the dip stick see how much it went down. either way I wouldn't chance driving it back to the dealer. call the roadside assistance and get it towed there. it does suck it happening on a saturday.

When will dealerships get up to speed and start opening on sundays. hell even the banks are opening on sundays. then they wonder why auto manufactors needed to get hauled out of trouble. know one has time to go car shopping m-f 9-6

I'd say that most of it came out while parked and not driving.

Simple matter to inspect oil filter

Unless you've had no training (Not trying to knock anyone) it' s a simple matter to find out if the oil filter is loose .
On a cool engine, just get under the truck or hood, if you feel comfortable and see if the filter is snug.

If the dipstick reveals a safe oil level, you could alwasy pop over to a Jiffy Lube or something and have them inspect for oil plug, oil filter, inadvertent spills etc.

Another Possibility

On a previous Chrysler product there was an incident on my first oil change where the original factory oil filter was removed and the rubber gasket stayed stuck to the engine block. The mechanic spun another filter on and there ended up being two oil filter gaskets and a big mess. BEWare tHIS HAPPENS!

I did this once, it WILL never happen again as long as I am changing my own oil. Luckily my Wrangler has a cartridge filter

I used to do oil changes at a Chevy dealership and yes the double gasket happens but only once! For me anyways. After getting soaked in oil (we had a pit and I stood under the car) I learned to make sure the old gasket came off. Also I know it's very simple to check but km a big guy and can't get my chest under the truck. I got a little under and snapped a few pics from reaching under. It's not the plug I can see that. And to top it all off my oil is over a litre over filled!! I am so mad. I wanted to check it after it was done. I trusted them. Obviously a wrong decision. They will be getting a piece of my mind Monday morning

I also know its not just a spill. Cause its been 1500km in rain and its still dropping from about 8 different spots
