2011 ram lift questions(garage concerns)
I have a 2011 Ram 4x4 and want to put a lift under it. My primary concern is that it is garage kept and I do not want to raise so much that it no longer fits. I have around 8-9" of clearance as of now. I wanted to go with a 6" lift but didn't know what would work. Is the lift gonna be 6" by itself plus the height of the tires? If so, is there anyway to figure out what size tire I can go with to keep me under that 8-9" range?

If you do a 6" lift do you plan on using Bilsteins to level it? Do you plan on running 35's or 37's. All that plays into the calculation. Say you run a 6" lift with Bilsteins set at 1.4" to level it and then 35's (assuming you have 33's right now) you will be 8.4" higher on the front than where you are now. So depending on your combination of lift and tires you can calculate the height change yourself.

remember stock tires are 33" if u go to 35" tires then you add ONE inch of height. you go 37"s you add TWO inches. from stock
