3rd gen drop help

Most opinions I gather from the forum here is that McGaughys is the way to go for a 2/4.5 drop, am I right?

Do I need to replace shocks at that point for the best ride? Please recommend a shock that you have had a good ride experience with. Is there anything else I need to do at the time of the drop?

It should be the same for the shocks as when I leveled mine is you do need to replace shocks as it max's out the shock. In your instance compressed. Ive always liked Fox shocks imo but are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Hope this helps

Scratch the Fox shocks I forgot they only make offroad shocks. Belltech are pretty good from what I have heard.
