Opinions - Which grille looks better?

So, I just bought another car and that kind of stunted my "mod fund" for Lucy (my truck) - So instead of forking over $900 for the Fuel Offroad grille that I want right now, I settled for plasti-dip.

Which grille looks better to you guys? The before brushed metal look, or the after black plasti-dip.

I like the black plast-dip better. Suits the truck better IMO

I agree I like the plasti dipped version better too!

Much as I like a chrome grill, the black looks really good on your truck.

I'm also a chrome grille fan but your "after" does look better.

The black looks good

I'm surprised at myself but I think the black is an improvement.

I'll be very interested to hear how it holds up.

Black looks good with mineral grey
IMO

Thanks boys!

I will let you know how it holds up. I personally am a big fan of plasti-dip. This truck gets driving from California to Nevada twice a week, and so she is no stranger to bugs/birds/homeless crack heads. I just hope that it holds up like I am planning! I did put on four or five pretty heavy coats. I am glad that the after looks better! I just went out there out of curiosity to see if I could take some of it off in a spot behind a bolt where you couldn't see, and its not going ANYWHERE.

that stuff is pretty sturdy. Mine door moldings hold up to the power washer point blank.

Except now it's peeled up in a spot from all the rocks and mud I run through and fling up on the side of the truck. Oh well :/

I'm sure it'll last a good while on the grille.
