Hell's Itch
Anybody ever have hell's itch? It happens about 48-72 hours after a bad sun burn and its some of the worst pain you can imagine. Read the stories online if you don't believe me, grown men have broken down in tears due to it.

I've experienced it about 3 times in my life, and I feel it coming on again. Hopefully I'm wrong, because I have a paper to finish and schoolwork.

I once fell asleep on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, i slept until about 10am
my back & legs were so sunburnt that i had major blisters for a week
i could not tell anyone that mattered, i was in the U.S. Navy & they don't believe that a person is human, you are a piece of equipment & they write you up for damaging equipment

I did it a 2nd time several years later, i was laying on a beach in San Diego, i was a civilian & i got burned so bad that i could not wear pants, huge water blisters that time too

OMFG so im not only one that this has happened to unless you have had this you have no idea what pain is. It happened to me in ocean city and i wanted to kill myself my wife at the time took the kids and got another room for the night because i was screaming and yelling lol and ive shattered my foot and broke my leg 2 times and that was nothing compared to that. I have a fix for it (do not try this i only am saying what i did) i took pain killers until it went away then it bubbled like crazy

I have a high physical pain tolerance, but this is way different. When I broke my finger, I laughed. I've split my head open, gotten a bunch of stitches, etc. Nothing compares.

This is different, and like said before, until you experience it, you have no idea. First time I had it, I was about 14 and by the end of the night, I was so sick of the pain, I literally cried. I've read where women actually compare it to childbirth.

This time, I've been taking ibuprofen and drinking a ton of water to hopefully keep it from happening, then tomorrow after I turn in my paper and finish homework, I'm going to down a ton of benadryl.

This was taken this morning, approximately 2 days after it happened:

I really just want to get drunk and forget the pain, but alcohol dries you out. Plus it would suck to have a hangover and this.

Benadryl did not help me and ill admit it i cried lol the pain killers knocked me out that was only thing that helped

get yourself a bottle of Aloe Vera Gel or cortisone cream

For pain, take ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) or acetaminophen (Tylenol)

I've tried Aloe Vera before. It actually seems to make it worse. I don't want to make that same mistake again haha. I've been popping 2 ibuprofen about every 4 hours.
