2013 Ram RT Spindle Lowering Kits

Looking for any info on lowering my 2013 RT, is it true that the '13s need a different spindles kit than the '12s?

There are no shackles on 4th gen RAMs. Its coil spring w/4-link suspension. As far as I know, any drop kit will work from '09-up.

pretty much any 09+ kit will work on the 4x2's there are only 1 or 2 that are made for the 4x4's. With that said we stock BellTech and GroundForce if you would like us to get one out to you let me know I would be more than happy to get on going your direction

Thanks

I know the spindles are the same I will have an answer for you on the rest of the kit in a couple days when I complete my install I have 2013 R/T that I just bought a couple days ago. I removed the lowering kit from my 2012 R/T before I traded it in.... Side note the lower control arms are different on the 2013 they are cast aluminum...

I inquired with McGaughys about the 44050 kit. Their response was "the 2013 trucks have changed the lower control arm slightly and it will make contact with the new drop spindles. It is slight but the spindles do need to be clearanced so that they do not rub on the control arm"

That sounds logical the control arms are different I will probably start on mine tonight I will let you know how it goes...

I believe they are the same lower control arms that are used on the 4x4s

If the 2wd truck had air ride it would have the 4x4 lower control arm yes you cant get an R/T with air ride tho unfortunately... So we have the lower control arms with the coil spring pocket built in. The 4x4 or air ride 2wd have the strut style suspension so the strut bolts to the lower control arm...

when you tear into your 13', you will see where they already made provisions to possibly retrofit air ride, but I see what you're saying
